My Christmas

Yesterday, I had an amazing Christmas. When I woke up, I headed downstairs. Underneath the tree, presents of all sizes were tempting me to open them, but I refused to cave in, and waited for my parents and Ashton. As soon as they came down the stairs, Ashton was begging them to open his presents. Mom said okay, so we all dug through our stockings and opened our presents. I got a Lord of the Rings version of Monopoly, a thumb piano, and a book I really wanted (I might do a book review on it someday), along with other items. Ashton got a sketchbook (from me) and a bathrobe. Dad received socks and handkerchiefs, while Mom got chapstick.

After we finished opening our presents, we headed over to my grandparents house for Christmas brunch. We ate bacon, strata, tater tots, and scrambled eggs. It was delicious! After everyone had finished their brunch, we headed down to the basement to open presents. On top of the items I received from my family, I also received a planner, a book called Color Your Own Stickers, and a moon globe, as well as other things.
