S.A.V.E. Squad: Dog Daze
The S.A.V.E Squad: Dog Daze by Lauriane Snelling and Kathleen Damp Wright is the first book in a series that is all about saving and protecting hurt and lost animals.
Aneta Jasper had just been adopted and was living in the United States of America, a big change from the orphanage in Ukraine she used to live at. Then, she happened to be one of the winners for the Oakton City Founders’ Day poster contest. All of a sudden, she had to work with a group of three other girls (who couldn’t even agree to disagree!) to host a successful event for Oakton City’s first ever Founders’ Day.
When they had ultimately decided on a super-cool idea,- a mean girl from Aneta’s new school creates a whole lot of trouble.
I enjoyed this book because I share the characters’ passion for animals. This book is filled with twists and turns that all good mysteries should contain. I feel this book would be fit for readers that are eight to ten years old.
