Animals Being Mistreated

Everyday, pets are being dumped outside, just because their owners don't want them or because they are moving. Instead of bringing their pet to an animal shelter, they leave them on the roadside, or in a trash dump, leaving the poor, demesticated creature to need to suddenly know how to fend for itself in the wild. 

There are also puppy mills, where puppies are treated just like cash crops. They suffer malnutrion or starvation due to the unsanitary food and water. If a dog is sick or dying, they recive little to no vetreinary care. Adult dogs are continually bred until they can no longer reproduce. When that happens, the dog is either destroyed or discarded.
